Frozen Returns to the Top of the Box Office

Frozen weathered the box office well over the chilly weekend that covered several parts of the country in snow. The Disney animated flick reclaimed the No. 1 spot, grossing $20.7 million, according to Box Office Mojo. Landing in second was Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, which took in $18.2 million in its opening weekend. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaugfollowed at No. 3 with $16.3 million.

The Wolf of Wall Street grabbed the fourth spot with $13.4 million. American Hustle trailed closely behind with $13.2 million to rank fifth.

Anchorman 2 fell to No. 6, raking in $11.1 million to bring the Will Ferrell comedy's total gross to $109.2 million.

Rounding out the Top 10: Saving Mr. Banks (No. 7, $9.1 million); The Secret Life of Walter Mitty  (No. 8, $8.2 million); The Hunger Games: Catching Fire  (No. 9, $7.4 million) and Grudge Match (No. 10, $5.4 million).
