Check Out an Exclusive First Look at the Final Season of Fringe

The end of Fringe is upon us.

In just over two weeks, the fifth and final season of Fringewill launch. Set in 2036, the story picks up after the Fringe Division has just been just freed from a 20-year slumber in amber —  but someone is missing from this Bishop family reunion, as shown in the exclusive first look photo of the fifth season premiere, "Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11."

Mega Buzz Scoop: A Fringe death?!

Peter (Joshua Jackson), his daughter Etta (Georgina Haig), Walter (John Noble) and Astrid (Jasika Nicole) will have to go on the hunt for the MIA Olivia (Anna Torv), who was not seen during the flash to the future last season. But don't expect the family reunion to be a joyous one.

"It takes on a slightly different flavor than I think you would anticipate," Jackson previously teased of the reunion. "It happens quite quickly off the top of the season, and it's as emotional as you would imagine, but not quite the reunion that you're expecting."
