Based on the classic crime novels, the series follows 18-year-old Nancy (McMann) the summer after her graduation from high school. She had planned to be leaving for college, but her mother's tragic passing keeps her home for another year. When Nancy gets involved in a murder investigation, she'll start to uncover shocking secrets — including some stunning revelations about her father, which will undoubtedly derail Carson's attempts to reconnect with her.

The potential series will also star Tunji Kasim, Leah Lewis, Maddison Jaizani, and Alex Saxon.
