Fox Winter TV Schedule 2026: Here's When the New Fear Factor Premieres and Doc Returns

Fox had a great start to 2025, largely because it had the rights to a little game that grown-ups play called the Super Bowl. The network doesn't have it in 2026 — that honor goes to NBC — but Fox does have... well, not much. Doc returns from its winter break on Jan. 6, but the most exciting options coming are new shows. 

Pairing with Doc will be new comedy-drama Best Medicine, which stars Josh Charles as a Boston doctor who moves to a small coastal town he used to vacation in to open his own practice. However, most of the attention on Fox this January will come with Fear Factor: House of Fear, a revival of the gross-out competition that made waves when it initially premiered in 2001. The new version will be hosted by Johnny Knoxville now that former host Joe Rogan is too Joe Rogany. The new hitman drama Memory of a Killer, starring Patrick Dempsey, debuts in January, and the Biblical drama The Faithful blesses us at the end of March and culminates with its finale on Easter Sunday.

For the first time in a long time, there will be no new episodes of The Simpsons on Fox in the spring, as Season 37 is ending in mid-February with back-to-back special episodes, its 800th episode and its season finale. Family Guy and American Dad! will take The Simpsons' spot in the animation bloc.
