Following the successful debut of Mobbed, the surprise flash mob special hosted by Howie Mandel, Fox has ordered it to series for eight episodes, Deadline.com reports.
Based on a format from the Deal or No Dealhost, Darryl Trell and Howard Kitrosser, Mobbed adds a hidden-camera element to the ever-popular flash mobs springing up around the world and on television shows, including Gleeand Modern Family.
The special, which debuted after American Idolon Thursday, drew 10.8 million viewers.
