Bones fans will have to wait a little longer to say goodbye. Fox has pushed the long-running show's final season to winter 2017.

Bones was originally slated to air Thursdays at 9/8c in the fall afterRosewood. Now, freshman drama Pitchwill take that timeslot.

Pitch stars Kylie Bunbury as the first woman to play Major League Baseball. The emotional, character-driven trailer immediately stood out from the crowd of new dramas joining the fall schedule, which mainly consists of reboots, procedurals and time-travel shows.

Pushing Bones to midseason also means Prison Breakwill be getting a new timeslot. The revival was scheduled to air Thursdays at 9/8c, but now the Wentworth Miller drama will air Tuesdays at 9/8c beginning in winter 2017.
