Fox and Major League Baseball are teaming up in a big way for the network's upcoming pilot Pitch, about the league's first female player, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the pilot from producer Dan Fogelman (Galavant) Ginny, played by Kylie Bunbury, will pitch for the San Diego Padres, thus (fictionally) breaking the league's real-life gender barrier.

But Pitch won't be novel just for its premise: the show has also been granted use of MLB marks, logos, licensed product, uniforms, teams, stadiums, locations and game footage. It'll film at Petco Park in San Diego, the real-life home of the Padres.

The hope is for the show to expand, including more teams and cameos from real-life all stars should it move to series. However, it won't feature the Padres' real life line-up but instead create its own--a lineup that will include the likes of Mark-Paul Gosselaar.
