Flashpoint to End After Fifth Season

The upcoming fifth season of Canadian cop drama Flashpointwill also be its last, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"While the series is still at its creative apex, we've decided to end the series on a high note, and give those fans the satisfaction of a fitting series conclusion in our 75^th episode," said executive producers Anne Marie La Traverse and Bill Mustos.

Flashpoint renewed for a fifth season

The cast and crew of the police procedural — which first debuted on CTV in Canada, and aired on CBS then ION in America — was told Tuesday that production on the final 13 episodes will conclude this summer.
