Felicia Day to Star in Mystery Science Theater 3000 Revival

In a union made in geek heaven, Felicia Day has joined theMystery Science Theater 3000 revival. The Guild star will play Kinga Forrester, daughter of mad scientist Dr. Clayton Forrester, Day revealed on Twitter.

Meltdown's Jonah Ray will host the series, which will feature comedians Hampton Young and Baron Vaughn and Crow T. Robot and Tom Servow. MST3K creator Joel Hodgson also teased that there will be one more Mad joining the revival cast.
Day's casting comes less than two weeks after Hodgson launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring back the cult classic. So far, the campaign has already surpassed its $2 million goal, meaning fans are guaranteed three new episodes of the movie-riffing series. With 17 days left to go, the Kickstarter is now aiming for $5.5 million and twelve episodes.
