The first half of Fear the Walking Dead's fourth season has taken place in two timelines: BEFORE, where Madison (Kim Dickens) has been leading a community facing existential and physical threat from a group called the Vultures; and NOW, where survivors of the community are out to get revenge on the Vultures. In Sunday's midseason finale, those two timelines will finally come together.

"The present and the past will converge," says Colman Domingo, who plays wily survivor Victor Strand. "And your head's going to fall off your body." That's what we like to hear!

What that probably means is that we're going to find out why Madison has been missing from the NOW timeline. She hasn't even been mentioned, not even after her son Nick (Frank Dillane) died in her daughter Alicia's (Alycia Debnam-Carey) arms. Is she dead? Is she on a mission? Has she been barricaded in the ruins of the baseball stadium, and the SWAT van crew who just busted in there are about to find her?

Fear the Walking Dead Star Explains That Confusing 407 Ending

"There's many theories," Domingo says, "and all of them are justified in some way or another." He has some theories of his own: Is she being held for ransom? Is she hidden? Did she fly away somewhere? The way he sees it, fans have been trying to figure out what happened to Madison along with our heroes, so we'll find out where she is at the same time they do.

"It's going to be incredible television when we find out what happened, one way or another," he promises.

Fear the Walking Dead's midseason finale airs Sunday, June 10 at 9/8c on AMC.
