The second half of Fear the Walking Dead's second season starts Aug. 21, and things are going from bad to worse for the erstwhile crew of the Abigail.
In the Season 2A finale, Daniel Salazar (Ruben Bladés) burned down the ranch where our heroes were staying, forcing Madison (Kim Dickens), Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), Ofelia (Mercedes Mason) and Strand (Colman Domingo) to get back on the road in an attempt to return to the boat, while Nick (Frank Dillane) goes off on his own to live among the dead. That boy sure loves smearing himself with blood. Elsewhere, Travis (Cliff Curtis) is trying to bring his increasingly volatile son Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie) back into the light. The family is fractured.

Madison & Co. arrive in Tijuana, and the former tourist destination is no fun anymore. What used to be a resort hotel is now overrun with zombies. Maybe things are getting a little Dawn of the Dead?
And Chris says to his father, "There is no more bad, right or wrong. It's us or them." If you forgot for a second you were watching a Walking Dead show, that line should remind you.
Fear the Walking Dead returns Sunday, Aug. 21 at 9/8c on AMC.
