Fat Joe Turns Himself in to Prison for Tax Evasion

Fat Joe turned himself in to prison Monday to begin his four-month sentence for tax evasion, TMZ.com reports.

The "What's Luv?" rapper, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena, is officially in custody at the Federal Detention Center in Miami.

Celebrities who've overcome scandal

Fat Joe pled guilty in December to failing to pay more than $1 million in taxes for the years of 2007 and 2008.

Although he originally faced up to a maximum of two years behind bars, he was ultimately sentenced to four months and a $15,000 fine, plus one-year supervised release.
