It's only been four years since we last visited J.K. Rowling's wizarding world onscreen, but for Harry Potter fans, that feels like a lifetime. Fortunately, we won't have to wait much longer. The first trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was released on Tuesday and if the sight of Rowling's name accompanied by the spellbinding orchestral score doesn't give you chills, you must be a Muggle.

The trailer only gives us the briefest glimpse at the prequel film, introducing us to Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander and his suitcase full of dangerous creatures, some of whom escape, causing the famed Magizoologist to hunt them down across 1920s New York.

Every Harry Potter bombshell J.K. Rowling has dropped since the last book

And before you watch the trailer below, be warned: There are a lot of American accents in Fantastic Beasts, which can be a little off-putting at first following so many years of decidedly British high jinks.

Fantastic Beasts is slated for a November 2016 release.
