Are you ready to join The Cool Kids' clique? Fox's new old people sitcom premiered Friday night, partnered with Last Man Standing to form a Friday night comedy block for baby boomers and above.

The Cool Kids stars Martin Mull, David Alan Grier and Leslie Jordan as three senior men who live in a retirement community. In their minds, they run the place. A seat opens up at their table in the dining room after their friend Jerry passes, and it's immediately filled by Margaret, played by The Carol Burnett Show's Vicki Lawrence, much to the guys' dismay. They don't like her disrespectful attitude, but they warm to her when they realize she's fun.

The series is executive-produced by It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Charlie Day, who drew inspiration from his own experiences working in a retirement home. (He made a cameo in the pilot as a Charlie Kelly-esque maintenance man.)
