Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is giving $100 million to Newark, N.J., schools on the same day The Social Network, the unflattering film about establishing his company, is premiering. Zuckerberg, who just placed as the 35th-richest person on Forbes' annual list, will present his donation along with Newark Mayor Cory Booker and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on Friday's Oprah Winfrey Show.

According to The New York Times, the contribution is the 26-year-old's first gift to start a foundation for education. Zuckerberg's fortune is estimated at $2 billion.

The Social Network is based on Ben Mezrich's book The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding Of Facebook, A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius, and Betrayal. It's an account of Zuckerberg's Harvard classmates who say he stole their idea for the website. Jesse Eisenberg stars as Zuckerberg. Justin Timberlake co-stars.
