Talk about a match made in high school heaven! Gleeks and cliques partied shoulder to shoulder at TV Guide Magazine's Hot List party, held November 8 at Hollywood's newest hotspot, Drai's. On the rooftop of the W Hotel, cast members from Glee, Pretty Little Liars and Dancing With the Stars enjoyed dance offs in their booths while the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills hijacked the dance floor.
"I'm thinking it's a pretty cool thing — not everyone makes the Hot List, so I'm pretty proud!" said Housewife Taylor Armstrong of being included as this year's "Crazy Hot" TV stars, just four episodes into their first season. Co-star Adrienne Maloof echoed her sentiments. "We're all just thrilled about this," she said before tearing up the floor to "Jesse's Girl."
Pauley Perrette, whose NCIS is enjoying a "Hot Streak" as the number one scripted show on TV, dressed especially for the occasion. "Do you see my theme-appropriate t-shirt?" she asked, showing off a belly-baring "Hot Stuff" tee. "I found it tonight and it made me laugh, so I thought it was excellent for the party."
Not even hectic schedules could keep the stars away. Community's Danny Pudi came straight from work with Outsourced's Ben Rappaport, while Julie Benz, on her first weekday off since production started on No Ordinary Family, told TV Guide Magazine it was a fete she simply couldn't miss. "I see a lot of my friends, and that's what I love. This party's always one of the better parties of the year. It's one I will actually drive myself out for."
But no one felt the love quite like the cast of Glee, who celebrated their Hot List covers by dancing on the booth dividers to songs by The Jackson 5. "We came here last year and no one knew who the hell we were," said Kevin McHale, who plays Artie. "This year we're on the cover. I mean, all this stuff... It's still really weird. And it's an honor that people are still invested and still liking what we're doing. It really is. We don't take it for granted."
