Exclusive: Ed, Eastbound & Down Alums to Appear on The Goldbergs

Ed star Tom Cavanagh and Eastbound & Down's Jennifer Irwin are coming to The Goldbergs, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

The duo will guest-star in the seventh episode as Charles and Virginia Kemp, the Goldbergs' prim and proper neighbors who are polar opposites from super-loud Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) and Murray (Jeff Garlin). After rebuffing Beverly's numerous attempts to strike up a friendship, Virginia prohibits her son Chad (Jacob Hopkins) from playing with Adam (Sean Giambrone).
Besides Ed, Cavanagh has appeared on Scrubs and Royal Pains. Irwin has recurred on Breaking In and guest-starred on Raising Hope. 
The Goldbergs airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC. Cavanagh and Irwin's episode will air in November.
