"She's committed to making the situation right and moving on in a way that's appropriate," her attorney Darren Kavinoky told the magazine.
The Planet of the Apes actress was charged last week with four misdemeanor counts of hit and run, drunken driving, resisting arrest and battery on a peace officer stemming from an incident on May 24. Warren had crashed into three vehicles, resisted arrest, kicked an officer and then, after being taken to the police station, ran out the back door.
"This scenario can be the catalyst for significant change," Kavinoky said. "Estella's attitude towards this whole thing is awesome. She's more than accepting. She's embracing the personal opportunities that have come from this."
