ESPN is trying its hand at a new game by premiering next March a four-hour documentary series about the civil-rights movement in America, to be directed by Dan Klores (Viva Baseball!). According to Variety, Black Magic will view the injustices that permeated the '50s and '60s through the framework of basketball at historically black universities. Coproducers on the project include hoops legend Earl Monroe and former New York Times film critic Elvis Mitchell.
