Inside the Emmys: All the Dish from TV Guide's After-party!

The TV Guide after-Emmy party at Hollywood hot spot Les Deux was somewhat of a "surprise" party. While guests were excited to be entertained by Grammy winner John Legend, no one (save for an in-the-know few) was prepared for Kanye West to then take the stage. When the rap superstar's voice boomed over the sound system, partygoers literally flooded inside the tent to grab a glimpse. But the quick sprint was well worth it, especially when Legend returned to the stage to perform "Gold Digger" alongside West. If West's surprise performance wasn't enough to make partygoers' jaws drop, the night was far from over. Sandra Oh proved she knows how to have a good time, truly getting down to rap music with Grey's Anatomy's costar

If West's surprise performance wasn't enough to make partygoers' jaws drop, the night was far from over. Sandra Oh proved she knows how to have a good time, truly getting down to rap music with Grey's Anatomy's costar Eric Dane and his wife Rebecca Gayheart. Even celebrities seemed beside themselves when they realized that Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx was in the house, holding court in a corner booth. But even still, the ohmigod moments weren't over. When Band from TV took the stage at 12:25 am/PT, everyone knew it would be a rocking time. However, few expected Teri Hatcher to join Greg Grunberg, Hugh Laurie, Bonnie Somerville, James Denton and Bob Guiney on stage and sing Little Big Town's hit "Leave the Pieces." Even come 2 am, the party was still going strong.

Here's a rundown of some of the starry sightings and sound bites:

Melinda Clarke wore a Lloyd Klein dress that she had kept in her closet for a long, long time until she lost five pounds and felt good about wearing it.... At 10:22 pm, Singing Bee and TV Guide Network host Joey Fatone did a mad dash across the red carpet saying he'd come back and do interviews but right now he needs a restroom — badly. Later, he and karaoke-show rival Wayne Brady sang with Band from TV…. Teri Hatcher arrived at 10:35, catching up with Blair Underwood as she entered. He told her they hadn't seen each other since they did The Tonight Show, right before Desperate Housewives exploded. Teri told us how excited she was to be performing later….

Lauren "LC" Conrad, Whitney and some of the other Hills hotties made camp on a couch for most of the night. Meanwhile, Paris Hilton sightings created a stir among partygoers…. At 10:45, Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon walked the wrong way on the red carpet hand in hand, which is ironic because they never "entered".... Shortly thereafter, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell also walked the carpet the wrong way, also having never entered. Rebecca walked with her shoes off and put them back on after her interview with TV Guide Network. They then headed out, saying they had to work at 4 in the morning. But they did stop to say hello to Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery on their way off the carpet….

Extra's Mario Lopez left early because he wasn't feeling well. He told his crew he'd maybe eaten some bad fish, but still did over 22 interviews — all of which included a sip of champagne — until he finally headed home…. Joy Lauren and Andrea Bowen from Housewives were spied standing on one of the couches in the tent bouncing up and down to Kanye West's performance of "Gold Digger"…. The cast of Grey's arrived at 11:26: Sara Ramirez, Eric Dane with wife Rebecca Gayheart, Justin Chambers and his wife, T.R. Knight, and Sandra Oh….

Ali Larter, dressed in Reem Acra, huddled under a heat lamp with her beau…. 30 Rock's Jane Krakowski and Judah Friedlander posed with pals for one of the novelty TV Guide covers that were being photographed and composed on the fly by a team of computer whizzes…. Heroes boss Tim Kring sidled up to a bar, shot of tequila in hand, enjoying the "super" gala…. The Office's Melora Hardin, after some impressive barefoot dancing, closed out the night and the soiree with some playful mugging in the TV Guide photo booth.
