Eliza Dushku, Rick Fox Split

Eliza Dushku and Rick Fox have broken up after five years together, The Boston Globe reports.

The reason for the split: living on opposite coasts. "Rick's an L.A. guy and I'm a Boston girl," the Buffy star explained.

After 22 years in Los Angeles, Dushku's homesickness apparently became too much and she recently decided to buy a condo not far from the Watertown house where she grew up. "I'd rather be a little physically cold here than emotionally cold in L.A.," she said. "I missed my town and I missed my family."

And while Dushku says she has no plans to quit acting, she revealed she plans to go back to school now that she's home.
