Exclusive Video: Happy Endings' Eliza Coupe Returns to TV on USA's New Comedy Benched

Happy Endings fans are still in mourning the show's way-too-soon cancellation, but thankfully many of the show's ensemble have had no problem lining up new gigs (as it should be).

The latest is Eliza Coupe, who stars on USA's new legal comedy Benched, premiering Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 10:30/9:30c. From Trophy Wife's Michaela Watkins and Damon Jones, the sitcom centers on Nina (Coupe), a driven and ambitious corporate lawyer who has a nervous breakdown and must become a public defender.

"It's sort of her transitioning from the top of the chain in terms of life and work and everything to pretty much the bottom of the chain," says Better Off Ted alum Jay Harrington, who stars opposite Coupe as her colleague, Phil.
