Freshman series Beauty and the Beast and Elementary will be heading to Comic-Con next month, CBS Television Studios announced Tuesday.

Loosely based on the 1987 CBS series about an ADA and a noble man-beast who make a connection, Beauty and the Beast is an updated love story — with Smallville's Kristin Kreuk as the Beauty and Jay Ryan as the Beast — that includes a procedural twist. The cast and executive producers are expected to appear on the panel.

Elementary takes a modern look at the cases of Sherlock Holmes in which Sherlock (Eli Stone's Jonny Lee Miller) is a recovering addict and consultant for the NYPD. Lucy Liu will portray his Watson. Both Miller and Liu will appear on the panel alongside executive producers Robert Doherty and Carl Beverly.
