Ed Helms to Star in Naked Gun Reboot
Ed Helms has signed on to star in Paramount's reboot of The Naked Gun franchise, Variety reports. The former Office star will play Detective Frank Drebin, the role made iconic by Leslie Nielsen.
Ed Helms has signed on to star in Paramount's reboot of The Naked Gunfranchise, Variety reports. The former Office star will play Detective Frank Drebin, the role made iconic by Leslie Nielsen.
Night at the Museum's Thomas Lennon and R. Ben Graither will write the screenplay, which will put a new spin of Drebin.
Paramount has already released three films in the franchise, in 1988, 1991 and 1994. In total, the films earned $275 million.
