Duck Dynasty's Rebecca Robertson is already calling 2016 "the best year" after kicking it off with an engagement.
According to the reality show star's Instagram, her finacee John Reed Loflin proposed by having Robertson find the ring in a sea shell.
"After long time of patiently searching, I found the ultimate gem // Jeremiah 29:11," she captioned a journal page with an illustration of the proposal and a shot of the gorgeous oval ring.

A second photo showed Robertson and Loflin embracing on the beach with, "2016: Our story starts here," written in the sand.
Robertson isn't the only member of the dynasty to ring in the New Year with nuptial plans. Her cousin Reed popped the question to his fiancée Brighton Thompson in late December.
