DreamWorks has optioned the rights to two books about WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in hopes of eventually turning them into a film, Reuters reports.
Assange, 39, is an international hot topic after releasing classified documents. He is currently facing extradition from Britain to Sweden over alleged sex crimes.
The first book is WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange's War on Secrecy by Guardian journalists David Leigh and Luke Harding. The second, Inside WikiLeaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World's Most Dangerous Website" by Daniel Domscheit-Berg, who worked with Assange.
