Donald Trump plans to take legal action against the former Miss Pennsylvania, who claims that the Miss USA Pageant is rigged, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

One day after Miss Rhode Island Olivia Culpo was crowned the new Miss USA, Sheena Monnin, the contestant from Pennsylvania, resigned from her post, calling the Miss Universe Organization "fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent and in many ways trashy" on her Facebook page.

Monnin claims a fellow contestant had seen a list of the top five women hours before the pageant even began. "In my heart I believe in honest, fair play, a fair opportunity and high moral integrity, none of which in my opinion are part of this pageant system any longer," she added.

Trump, co-owner of the Miss Universe Organization, appeared on Today Wednesday to refute the claims, which he called "ridiculous." "We're going to be suing her now," he said. "She made a very false charge and she knows it's a false charge."

A rep for Miss Universe told TMZ.com that the real reason Monnin resigned from her post was because she disagreed with allowing a transgender woman to compete.
