Graham (R-SC) called Trump a "jackass" on Monday, days after Trump questioned John McCain's status as a war hero because he was captured in Vietnam, CNN reports. In retaliation, Trump gave out Graham's private cell phone number during a packed, televised rally in South Carolina Tuesday, and encouraged everyone present and watching on TV to call it.
"Give it a shot," Trump told the crowd, after referring to Graham (who, like Trump, is running for president in 2016) as an "idiot" and a "lightweight."
Graham's campaign manager, Christian Ferry, responded to the breach with a statement criticizing "Trump's bombastic and ridiculous campaign" for detracting from the real issues. "Donald Trump continues to show hourly that he is ill-prepared to be commander in chief," Ferry said.
