Doctor Who First Look Reveals the Doctor Realizing She's a Woman for the First Time

A full scene from the upcoming new series of Doctor Who, starring Jodie Whittaker as the female incarnation of the Time Lordis here, and it is wonderful. We pick up with our new doctor only 30 minutes after her regeneration from Peter Capaldi's iteration and she's stuck on a locked train.

Yes, the show has a little bit of fun with the Doctor realizing she's a woman for the first time, but the regeneration is still so fresh that she's having a bit of a hard time figuring out who she is so she can answer the questions of the police officers who found her wandering on the train to begin with.

It turns out the Doctor is looking for a doctor, but we don't know why yet. At least we can tell that Whittaker is having fun with the part and her take on the iconic role will be fairly jubilant, even if the first scene is literally quite dark. Can it be next weekend yet?
