Everything old is new again, and that includes the Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire.

The Hilary Duff-led show is returning for a revival series on Disney+, Disney's new streaming service that is launching Nov. 12. The show was announced by Gary Marsh, president and chief creative officer for Disney Channels Worldwide during the Disney+ panel Friday at the D23 Expo 2019. Duff will reprise her role, and it won't interfere with her work on TV Land's hit series Younger.

In the revival, which hails from original series creator Terri Minsky, Lizzie is now a 30-year-old millennial living in New York City and working as an apprentice for a decorator. "Just like me and everybody...who grew up with her, Lizzie is also grown up. She's older, she's wiser, [and] she has a much bigger shoe budget," joked Duff.

Everything We Know So Far About Disney+, Disney's Streaming Service

As in the original series, the sequel will feature an animated version of Lizzie offering up running commentary and an inside look inside Lizzie's brain. Duff also teased that Lizzie is in a relationship with her dream boyfriend, though we don't know who that is just yet.

Disney+ launches on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Find out what else is coming to the new streaming service.
