The House of Mouse is digging deep into the archives
Long gone are the days when Disney fans had a limited window to scoop up VHS tapes and DVDs before the studio's movies were locked back into the mysterious Disney vault for years at a time. With Disney+ on the horizon, that vault will be wide open for audiences to rifle through, and the list of classics soon to be available for streaming is a long one.
In a lengthy Twitter thread, Disney revealed all of the classic film and TV titles that will be featured on Disney+ when the platform debuts on Nov. 12. The list includes plenty of familiar titles -- and some fans might have forgotten altogether. Beginning with the studio's earliest animated pics like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Pinocchio (1940), and Fantasia (1940) and ranging all the way up to a nostalgic collection of Disney Channel Original Movies and series, the platform will pretty much have it all (well, aside from Song of the South).
Disney Plus: Everything to Know About the Streaming Service
In addition to Disney classics, the Disney+ film collection will also include titles Disney has acquired from its partnerships with Lucasfilm and Marvel, including most of the Star Wars and MCU movies.
Check out Disney's Twitter thread for the full, exhaustive list of all the Disney movies and shows that will be available on Disney+ during its launch.
Disney+ launches on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
