Disney keeps coming up with more and more reasons for you to fork over cash for its upcoming streaming service, which is now known as Disney+. The company announced Thursday that it is developing a live-action Star Wars series starring Diego Luna, who you'll remember starred in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. He is reprising his role as Cassian Andor for the series.

"Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me," said Luna. "I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey. We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new exciting format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply."

The new series, which goes into production next year, follows the adventures of Andor, a rebel spy, during the formative years of the Rebellion. It is a prequel to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which makes sense since everyone died in that film. (No, that's not a spoiler. That movie came out in 2016.)

A release date has not yet been announced for the new series, which is the second Star Wars series Disney has announced, after The Mandalorian from Jon Favreau. The streaming service is also developing several new limited series starring your favorite Marvel characters too.
