Lynette (Felicity Huffman) has been focused on one goal and one goal only since Mike's untimely death earlier this season on Desperate Housewives — winning Tom (Doug Savant) back.

But since cooking his favorite food and waxing nostalgic with him about happier times hasn't done the trick, is she finally ready to wave the white flag and move on?

In this exclusive sneak peek from Sunday's episode (9/8c on ABC), Lynette gets a very interesting proposition from Tom's boss, Gregg (Reed Diamond), when she stops by the office.

"If you ever want to have a drink and vent with someone who gets it, I would gladly be that person," Gregg tells her. "You are the exact kind of woman that most men out there are looking for."
