Demi Moore Rushed to Hospital, Now Seeking Professional Help

Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital on Monday night, TMZ.com reports.

Paramedics were called to Moore's Los Angeles home late Monday, before she was transferred to the hospital. TMZ reports that she was allegedly treated for substance abuse. Reps for the actress did not immediately respond to TVGuide.com's request for comment.

"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health," a rep for the actress said in a statement. "She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."

In November, Moore announced that she has decided to divorce Ashton Kutcher after six years of marriage. News of their split came weeks after Us Weekly reported that Kutcher had a one-night stand with a 22-year-old named Sara Leal back in September — on the day of his and Moore's sixth wedding anniversary. Reports of trouble between the couple surfaced quickly (Star Magazinereported that the two had been living apart for months), but Kutcher took to Twitter a week after his alleged affair urging people not to assume anything.

Moore and Kutcher married in 2005 after dating for two years.
