After two straight years of Kathy Griffin uttering obscenities live on CNN's New Year's Eve coverage, the cable news network has yet to decide about the reality star/comedian's future appearances.

Kathy Griffin drops F-Word on CNN New Year's Eve special

"Stories about Kathy Griffin being banned from CNN are incorrect," CNN rep Shimrit Sheetrit told TVGuide.com. "No decisions have been made regarding next year's show."

While co-hosting the news channel's coverage in Time Square alongside CNN's Anderson Cooper, Griffin jokingly mispronounced Falcon Heene's name with a much naughtier word that starts with F. (Click here to watch the video).

A year ago, during the CNN special, Griffin yelled at an off-camera heckler: "I'm working. I don't go to your job and knock the di--s out of your mouth."

Before this year's countdown festivities, Griffin promised to forfeit her paycheck if she were to say another live television no-no.

An e-mail to Griffin's rep was not immediately returned to TVGuide.com.
