Just weeks after announcing their exit,Deadliest Catch stars Capts. Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand and Capt. Sig Hansen are back aboard the hit Discovery Channel series, a network rep confirms.

The Hillstrands announced their exit on Sept. 28th, saying they were unable to continue filming the show due to ongoing litigation with the network. Discovery sued the brothers a week prior for $3 million, claiming the stars refused to finish work on a planned Deadliest Catch spin-off, entitled Hillstranded.

Deadliest Catch stars quit over lawsuit

Hansen was not involved in the lawsuit, but left the series in support of the Hillstrands.

"We're happy we worked everything out with Discovery," the trio said in a statement. "A deal's a deal. We're heading up to Dutch Harbor to start filming the new season of Deadliest Catch and hopefully it will be the best one yet."

As part of the settlement, Discovery's lawsuit will be dropped and the Hillstrands will complete work on their spin-off, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which first broke the news.

"Everyone worked really hard on putting together Hillstranded and we're looking forward to wrapping that up," the brothers added in a statement. "It's something new that we hope people will enjoy."

Season 7 of Deadliest Catch is set to begin filming next week.
