David Duchovny's Tennis Instructor Denies Affair

A tennis instructor who has played matches with David Duchovny denies an affair with the Californicationstar.
The instructor, Edit Pakay, spoke out in response to a story in the U.K.'s Daily Mail. "David Duchovny and I are friends," she said, in a statement from Duchovny's lawyer, Larry Stein. "We have never had, and do not have, a romantic or sexual relationship. I do not have romantic feelings toward him and, based on our interactions, I believe that David Duchovny does not have romantic feelings toward me.
"The last time that I met up with David Duchovny was almost a year ago, in November 2007, when we made plans to play tennis," she explained. "His personal trainer was also with us. Since November 2007, I have not seen David Duchovny, other than running into him briefly at the gym in March 2008 where he was working out."
Duchovny and his wife, Téa Leoni, announced last week that the two had been separated for several months. The announcement came on the heels of Duchovny's release from rehab, where he had been receiving treatment for sex addiction since August.
Soon after Leoni's statements, rumors began circulating about an alleged affair between her and Billy Bob Thornton, which his rep denied.
