Legendary comedian Dave Chappelle will host Saturday Night Live's Nov. 12 episode, NBC announced Friday.

This will be Chappelle's first time hosting on SNL, and his highest-profile TV appearance since walking away from his sketch show Chappelle's Show in 2005.

The episode's musical guest will be hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest, who are releasing their first album in 18 years, We Got It From Here ... Thank You 4 Your Service on Nov. 11. It will be a Chappelle's Show reunion of sorts, as ATCQ's leader Q-Tip appeared in a memorable Sesame Street spoofin a Season 2 episode.

Chappelle has kept a relatively low profile since the end of Chappelle's Show, performing stand-up but rarely making TV appearances.

SNL's next episode on Nov. 5 will be hosted by Doctor Strange's Benedict Cumberbatch, with musical guest Solange.

Saturday Night Live airs Saturdays at 11:30/10:30c on NBC.
