Dancing with the Stars Season 27 is right around the corner, so rumors about casting, guest judges and cameos naturally abound. This is why we're sorting out fact from fiction for you! There will no doubt be plenty of surprises along the way as we head into the new season, but here's everything we know so far about Dancing with the Stars Season 27!

It's back on its usual night! Season 27 will premiere Monday, Sept. 24 at 8/7c on ABC, so make sure your DVRs are properly scheduled.

Here's who's competing in Season 27. ABC announced the full cast on Good Morning America on Wednesday, Sept. 12. This season's competitors include singer and actress Tinashe, Harry Potter's Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood, OMG!) and Bachelor in Paradise's Joe "Grocery Store Joe" Amabile. It had previously been announced that Disney Channel's Milo Manheim would compete with Witney Carson and Facts of Life actress Nancy McKeon would be cutting a rug with Val Chmerkovskiy. ABC also confirmed that NFL star DeMarcus Ware, Paralympic alpine skier Danelle Umstead, Dukes of Hazard star John Schneider and comedian Nikki Glaser will be competing this season.

As first reported by Entertainment Tonight, model Alexis Ren, Fuller House star Juan Pablo Di Pace and radio host Bobby Bones have also been tapped for this season. Meanwhile, ET also revealed that Mary Lou Retton, the first American female gymnast to win the all-around gold medal at the Olympics, is the latest former gymnast to put on her dancing shoes.

Brandon Armstrong has been in the Dancing with the Stars troupe since Season 24, but he'll be hitting the floor as a pro for the first time this year!

The show will return to its regular format. While Season 26 had a special premise and schedule, hosting a cast of athletes and keeping to a speedy 4-week format, this season will take us back to basics. Dancing with the Stars Season 27 will have its regular 10-week run and feature a mix of pop stars, actors and athletes taking part in the competition.
