Dancing with the Stars: Did the Right Two Couples Go Home?

And someone got engaged!

Dancing with the Stars had its most brutal episode of the season so far, dropping the axe on two couples in one hour and whittling the field down to just nine pairs. And with so many couples showing improvement in Week 4, there were only a few couples that were entirely safe from elimination.

But first! Sasha Farber and Emma Slater got engaged on live television! Early on in the episode, host Tom Bergeron told Sasha that he always thought he'd be a good host, so he handed over the show to him. Then Sasha got down on one knee, asked Emma to marry him and she said yes! Streamers fell from the sky, everyone rushed the stage and many tears were shed! Congrats, you two! May you last longer than any of the couples from ABC's other reality franchise.

Dancing with the Stars' Julianne Hough and Amber Rose bury the hatchet

Speaking of lasting as long as Jason Mesnick and Melissa Rycroft (Bachelor reference!), the first couple eliminated was Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds and Allison Holker, who totally beefed their routine earlier in the week for the lowest score of the night. It just goes to show that one bad night can lead to an elimination.

Babyface took it with class, thanking everyone involved in the show with a smile on his face the whole time. I think he knew it was coming, given the disaster the day before. Was he the worst dancer of the stars remaining? Absolutely not. But he was the worst dancer at the wrong time.

The eliminating wasn't done, though, as one more couple would pack their tutus and never dance again! It was Vanilla Ice (Robert Van Winkle) and Witney Carson who were cast off, which is odd because Vanilla just put together his best routine the night before. So all that stuff I said about Babyface's elimination being a result of having an off night spelling your demise? Throw it out the window, I guess!
