Dancing with the Stars: Alfonso Ribeiro Will Fill in for Tom Bergeron on Monday's Show
Bergeron is tending to his ailing father
Alfonso Ribeiro just can't stay away from the ballroom.
The Season 19 Dancing with the Stars champ will return to the show for the second week in a row on Monday night, this time filling in for host Tom Bergeron. (Last week, Ribeiro was a guest judge.)
But he'll be doing so under sad circumstances: Bergeron tweeted on Sunday that he'll be skipping Monday's show in order to be at the bedside of his ailing father. In his absence, Ribeiro and Erin Andrews will co-host the show, which will feature dances set to the theme of "Most Memorable Year of Your Life."

Ribeiro also shared the news via Instagram, but said he's taking on the temporary gig "with a heavy heart for my friend Tom and the Bergeron family."
