Publicist to Dancing with the Stars' Mark Ballas: Pay Up!

Mark Ballas' former publicist claims the Dancing with the Stars pro is trying to dance away without paying.

Ace PR has summoned Ballas to Los Angeles County Small Claims Court to get the money he allegedly owes. He cut ties with the company in September, TMZ reports.

The legal documents claim that Ballas owes them a "30 day termination fee," in the amount of approximately $2,637.75. "After patiently waiting for this issue to be resolved, for close to a year, we hope that this can get settled and we can move on," an Ace rep tells the website.

One source told TMZ, however, Ballas is claiming he doesn't owe since Ace was in breach of contract when it didn't perform up to his expectations.

The two parties will meet in small claims court on Friday.

Ballas recently teamed up with Disney Channel's Chelsea Kane in the 12^th season of Dancing with the Stars. The couple finished in third place.
