Here's When Legends of Tomorrow Premieres and The 100 Returns

But Vampire Diaries is moving to Fridays?!

Ready to get your fill of time-traveling super heroes and to check in with your favorite Earth-bound teenage society builders? The only network that could put that mouthful on one night has set the premiere dates for DC's Legends of Tomorrowand the return of The 100.

Legends, the fourth superhero tale from The Arrow and The Flash producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, will kick off the night on Jan. 21 at 8/7c on The CW. On the series, a team of heroes and villains from The CW's other DC properties will have to come together and travel through time to take down the greatest threats to Earth - beginning with Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), the immortal villain who will be introduced during The Flash/Arrow crossover on Dec. 1.

The dystopian series The 100 will follow up with the return of its third season at 9/8c.

In other CW scheduling news, Julie Plec's vampire series The Vampire Diariesand The Originals will move to Fridays beginning Jan. 29.
