When Christopher Gorham was prepping for his Covert Affairs directorial debut, the crew made sure he looked the part.

"Our third [assistant director] ... on my very first scene that we directed, he brought me a baseball cap and a vest with lots of pockets," he tells TVGuide.com. "That's my directing outfit that I wore."Gorham says he had a blast helming Tuesday's episode (10/9c, USA), which finds Annie (Piper Perabo) racing against the clock to turn an asset and Auggie (Gorham) still attempting to confess his feelings for her. "He wants to have that conversation, but it's not a great time and it's based on the reality of what's going on in the show," he says.
