Dwight Schrute had a farm, and on the farm he had ... Cousin Mose?!

Mike Schur, who guest-starred on The Office as Dwight's (Rainn Wilson) quirky cousin, will be reprising the role on the Office spin-off The Farm, about the Schrute family beet farm, TVLine reports.

Schur was a former executive producer on The Office and is currently the showrunner for another NBC Thursday night comedy, Parks and Recreation.

Mose will figure into an upcoming episode of The Office called "The Farm," which will act as a launching pad for the new series. It remains unclear whether Schur's character be a regular in the show, as Schur tells TVLine he feels more comfortable behind the camera.

In fact, Schur says the "best-case scenario" would be for the crossover episode to be centered around Mose's funeral. "If Mose was in a horrible tractor accident, and he was chopped up into little pieces so that there was no way he could come back... I'd be really psyched," he said.
