Therefore, we present to you the Community Abs-Off between Greendale's humble Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) and the not-so-humble Jeff Winger (Joel McHale). Let's look at the contestants:
Puppets invade Community! But what about a Season 5?

Dean Pelton

The dean never met a costume he didn't like, and if it bares his midriff and requires a wig, so much the better. But as frivolous as his penchant may seem, his abs are anything but seriously cut. No piece of laundry would be safe around those washboards.
"Jim's body is really tight," Yvette Nicole Brown, who plays Shirley, tells TVGuide.com. "That's taking nothing away from Joel. I think Jim edges him out by a hair. I don't think there's any body fat on there."
And although Rash will naturally vote for his own character, he admits that McHale's "Inspector Spacetime" alter ego Thoraxis "could probably beat me."

Jeff Winger
McHale doesn't think there's any contest. "If you look at Jim's abs now, mine are better still." Typical Jeff ego!
But he has a point. Over the years, we've become well acquainted with the evolution of Jeff's torso, from the fashion-conscious pasty billiards player to the tan rock 'n' roll magician and finally to the curious shade of chartreuse as Thoraxis. Apparently, if there's a reason -- however thin -- for Jeff to go shirtless, it happens. "It's a very naked show," observes Brown. "I've seen all of them just about naked."
Danny Pudi, who plays media nerd Abed, wisely refuses to pick a side. "I don't want to get involved in any kind of fight," he says. "So I'd say both of them are 'cool cool cool.'"
So whose corrugated midsection gets top honors? Who will have to drown his sorrows with a six-pack for his lack of six-pack? Vote below and watch Community on Thurdays at 8/7c on NBC:
