Comedy Central has picked up Waiting..., a pilot based on the 2005 film about the pitfalls of working in a restaurant, a network rep confirms.
Waiting..., which starred Ryan Reynolds, Anna Faris and Justin Long, follows employees of the local Shenaniganz restaurant (think T.G.I. Fridays) as they try to navigate being stuck in dead-end jobs.

The Lionsgate production will be executive produced by Rob McKittrick, who wrote and directed the original film, along with Jeff Balis and Thomas Augsberger, who both produced the film.
