Another '90s favorite is making a comeback.

A Clarissa Explains It All reboot with Melissa Joan Hart is in the works at Nickelodeon, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Hart will reprise her role as the side ponytail-wearing Clarissa Darling. However, in this updated version, she'll be a mom raising a family of her own.

In the original series, which ran from 1991-1994 on Nickelodeon, she was a sarcastic teen who often addressed the camera directly to share her thoughts on adolescent problems like boys, pimples and her embarrassing dad. We're hoping she'll bring that fourth-wall-breaking format to this new iteration.

Clarissa Explains It All was her first role as a lead character on a network series. The actress would go on to headline the magical comedy Sabrina the Teenage Witch in 1996 -- the role that solidified her status as a teen icon. Hart's other credits include the sitcom Melissa & Joey opposite Joey Lawrence and the 1999 film Drive Me Crazy with Adrian Grenier. She also appeared in shows like Boy Meets World, Law & Order: SVU, Robot Chicken and even competed on the ninth season of Dancing with the Stars.

Hart also appeared in Britney Spears' music video for "(You Drive Me) Crazy," which was also featured on the Drive Me Crazy soundtrack.
