Meet the Newest New York Housewife: Wax Queen Cindy Barshop

There's a new housewife in town: Self-proclaimed wax queen Cindy Barshop will join The Real Housewives of New York City next season, Bravo announced. Christian Barcellos, programming VP for the network, told the New York Post that Barshop, the owner of the Completely Bare salon chain, has an "organic connection to the cast" and is already friends with cast member Ramona Singer. Barshop replaces Bethenny Frankel, who has her own series, Bethenny Getting Married, and joins Singer, Kelly Bensimon, LuAnn de Lesseps, Alex McCord, Sonja Morgan and Jill Zarin in the cast. Season 4 of Real Housewives of New York City premieres in February.
