Ciara and Russell Wilson Are Officially Engaged

Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson are officially engaged, according to UsWeekly.

Wilson surprised Ciara with an impromptu trip after Paris Fashion Week, the singer's rep told Us. "She was shocked when they landed in the Seychelles at the exclusive resort North Island," the spokesperson said, but "the biggest surprise was that Russell proposed to his new fiancé at the romantic, private Honeymoon Beach, located on North Island."

Wilson and Ciara, who have been vocal about abstaining from sex until marriage, shared the news via social media. The NFL player posted a video to Instagram saying, "She said Yes!!! Since Day 1 I knew you were the one. No Greater feeling... #TrueLove @Ciara."

The video also has a close-up shot of the "Goodies" singer's new gigantic diamond ring. "I'm so excited. God is so good," she squealed into the camera.

The singer then posted a photo of herself and Wilson on the beach where he proposed. "I feel complete," she captioned the photo.

Ciara was previously engaged to rapper Future, with whom she shares a 21-month old son. They split in August 2014.
